Pegasus believes every individual and every organization should give back to the community that supports them.
The residents of Pegasus participate in a myriad of Community Service projects during their stay in Lockhart.
Community Service Projects include:
- Lawn and Marker Maintenance for several local cemeteries
- Lawn maintenance of local police department and volunteer fire departments
- Lawn maintenance of local historical buildings
- Projects for the Golden Age Home Assisted Living and other homes for the elderly in the area
- Projects at the Lockhart State and City Parks
- Projects for local churches and setting up of festivals
- Set-up and take-down for Chisholm Trail Roundup and Cinco de Mayo festivities
- Assist the Lockhart Community Gardens in maintenance of their garden
- Construction of ramps and other aides for the handicapped citizens of Lockhart and surrounding areas
- Pegasus also provides assistance to local schools and other organizations that need assistance
